The ministry and music of Gary Lanier spans four decades.
As a prolific composer, arranger, and orchestrator, he has over 1,000 published works including adult musicals, youth musicals, children’s musicals, choral collections, octavos, solos, worship choruses, orchestrations, and instrumental music ranging in styles from liturgical to evangelical.
His education, while at the University of North Texas in Denton, Texas, afforded him the opportunity to study Composition with Merle Ellis and Dr. William Latham, and Theory Pedagogy with Dr. Robert Ottman.
Gary currently resides in Broken Bow, Oklahoma, with his wife, Valleta. They enjoy working as a team, in his multiple ministries that are reaching around the world.
His rich baritone voice, accompanied by guitar or keyboard, always brings a message of hope and worship for the listener.
